Corona Crush Crashing Simulator

Hello,

I have recently installed Corona SDK and I was trying to build the GitHub CoronaLabs/CoronaCrush game to step through the code and learn about the functionality.

When I tried to build the game from Sublime using the Corona Editor it displays this build result but never ran simulator.

Windows simulator build date: May 27 2015 @ 18:15:50 Copyright (C) 2009-2015 C o r o n a L a b s I n c . Version: 3.0.0 Build: 2015.2646 Platform: iPhone / x64 / 6.2 / AMD Radeon HD 6620G / 4.5.13399 Compatibility Profile Context 15.200.1062.1004 / 2015.2646 Loading project from: c:\users\mat scott\google drive\corona projects\coronacrush-master Project sandbox folder: C:\Users\Mat Scott\AppData\Roaming\Corona Labs\Corona Simulator\Sandbox\coronacrush-master-86DD157319BCEDFECD2DA5F3DE373CF8\Documents [Finished in 1.5s]

Then when I tried to run it directly from the Corona Simulator it said it was not responding and closed its self.

I know this is not a lot to go on but I would really like to be able to debug this game to learn about how it functions. Any help would be greatly appreicated and please let me know if you need anymore information from me.

Thank you.

If you ran Corona SDK by hand, we should have opened a command window in the background. Are there any messages there?

Rob

In the Corona Simulator Output window the message was the same as what was output to the sublime build console.

I am sorry I do not have more information on the crash. Is there an errorlog that might be generated somewhere?

All the rest of the GitHub Corona projects work perfectly on the simulator. It has only been Corona Crush that has not worked.

I see you’re using Corona build 2015.2646 please update to the latest build (2015.2707) and try again.

Meanwhile, I’ll run it with 2707 and see what happens.  If I find an issue, I’ll commit a fix.

I just checked and this is working fine on 2707, so I’d just update and you should be fine.
