As part of the Corona Defold Jam I took the marketplace Star Explorer project and changed it quite a bit to make Asteroid Blasteroid. I documented the process in the game dev log and also released the modified project as open source on GitHub here: https://github.com/prairiewest/Asteroid-Blaster
Of possible interest to you, there are 5 different control schemes for the game: 3 for mobile and 2 for desktop. I modified these multiple times after lots of play testing, but if you think there are improvements to be made I’m interested in hearing your thoughts.
