Hello,
I’ve downloaded and tried Sublime + Corona Editor, and I can’t hide my disappointment!
Why would you choose Sublime?
I mean yeah, it’s a great text editor, but we are developers. We need an IDE, not a text editor, however great it is!
Having free options like Intellj Idea [which is super fast, best IDE for developers IMO, has a great lua support], Eclipse or NetBeans if you are a masochist… [just kidding, Glider developers, just kidding ;)], you chose Sublime, which not only is a paid option, it also is not an IDE.
Right now, you don’t event have a proper code coloring, which is the most basic of things [my… even free javascript libraries have better coloring than this, something that all of the options mentioned by me come with for FREE!!].
I don’t even want to think how long is it going to take you to add debugging support
I admit, I’m not a Sublime expert. I can see the potential in the editor. Great. But development, does not improve because you can type faster, or because you know and can use a plethora of keyboard shortcuts.
You will loose all your time debugging your application using crappy command line debugger, typing your git commands, and doing merges without a proper three way comparator.
Let me know when you add debugger support and code completion of functions defined in a separate file included from a different directory.
Guys… this is time wasted in my opinion.
