Corona for a team

Hi Everyone!

I’ve been looking into Corona for quite a while and recently decided to go forward with a new game written using Corona. Including myself there is a team of 3 people working on this project. So this is a question for anyone working in a team of Corona developers on a tight budget.

When you’ve subscribed, do you buy a separate subscription for everyone on the team or just the team lead who is responsible for deploying the final product to the app stores? I’d love to help out the Corona project as much as possible and purchase subscriptions for everyone, but money is very tight. Hopefully if the game sells well, the extra money for subscriptions will be a non-issue.

Any advice for a cash strapped start-up?

Thanks!

Hi,

You just need to buy one license for the person responsible for distributing the product. All code can be written and tested without having a pro license on every computer.

as said above, one licence for the distibutor will suffice. The only disadvantage the other team members will face by not having a licence is the trial message pop up upon launching the corona simulator.

A pro licence allows you to use corona on 2 computers with no trial pop ups however  [import]uid: 84637 topic_id: 20246 reply_id: 79134[/import]

Thanks a lot guys! Can’t wait to sign up and support this great framework.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think the trial version users can only install the latest stable (free) release (not the latest daily build), right? This means that the person with the licensed copy can have a different version than the trial version users. [import]uid: 44127 topic_id: 20246 reply_id: 79571[/import]

Latest stable version for non-subscribers.
