Some great new features, like exposing the “touch” joint. Nice to have the sprite sheet working properly. I can now go back to a project I suspended doing in Corona. An interesting comparison for me, though. Doing the same thing in native code (Obj-C & C++) reminded me of just how much more work it all is. You get greater control of course but no x-platform leverage.
Suggestion: might be worth putting in an assertion in physics.newJoint(). Calling it and passing (incorrectly) a display object with no attached physics crashes the simulator.
