I like your third row of icons, and cl-apps’ icon. You probably don’t want the icons to be specific to Apple devices, since Corona isn’t.

Logo/Icon description

  • Less gamey, more Corona’esque

  • Icon is a C ( C orona) with sun rays like how the CORONA is visible during a solar eclipse.

  • Unique among available icons in Mac

  • It’s Corona and nothing else

  • With its sharps and curves, it’s an excellent logo/icon for game development

Corona Logo Challenge Entry

This is combination of a Lua Logo and a Corona around the sun.

These designs all take inspiration from the cycle of a solar eclipse. We tried to capture the relationship between the moon (luna) and the sun, and the motion between the two while a solar corona is created.

There are a few variations of each which can be tweaked if needed. All designs stand out well on the dock and are focused on “Corona” over gaming, while complimenting the circular design of the Ansca logo.

White Hot Icon:

White center and unusual shape based on the rays of a corona.

Eclipse:

Bright colors and layered shapes showing on the rotation of the sun and moon.

Sun Moon:

Simple pattern effect based on the interaction of the sun and moon.

Sunny C:

Bold lines and colors showing on the rays of the sun to create a corona and the letter C of corona.

@pixelEnvisio, your art is great, but the Pink Coloured cotton seeds and the hammer through the seeds are a bit displacing. I’m surprised Ansca doesn’t seem to have any designers on staff - I’ve been seeing some ads around the web and no offence but they are pretty terrible. I love Corona but I think to connect with the demographic you are looking at for clients (designers not necessarily programmers) you have to work up your image a bit - maybe look at hiring a design firm?
