Corona in 5 Minutes has wrong instructions?

With the Corona Simulator open, select New Project… from the File menu. In the Project Name input field, type HelloWorld and ensure that the Blank template option is selected. Leave the other settings at default and click Next. On the next screen, navigate to where the project should be saved — in general, each project should be contained within its own directory on your system. Click Create and then, when prompted, click Open in Editor… to open the core project file in your chosen text editor (see recommendations for OS X and Windows).

There is no  Next button, only an  Ok  button. There are also no Create and Open in Editor… buttons.

Is this an old tutorial? Did the UI change? Im confused.

Can you post the URL where you got this?

As you can see, there is no option to select a text editor.

You’re one step ahead.

  1. Give the project a name.

  2. Click OK

  3. When the simulator opens, select File -> Open In Editor.

Ok, i opened in editor but theres only notepad.

I already have sublime text 2. How do i open in ST2?

Associate sublime 2 with LUA files.  Thats and OS thing.

OS X  - Google “associate files OS X”

Windows 7 - Google “associate files Windows 7”

Windows 8 - Google “associate files Windows 8”

Windows 10 - Google “associate files Windows 10”

Did that. .lua extension doesnt show up on the list.

Right click on the notpad file and select “open with” then “default program” and find st2 and select it!

Good Luck!
