Corona - Itunes - Songs - Play - Can someone tell us at least why..

My new app is in real need of access to the ITunes music player. Is there any way - shape or form that we can get access to execute this, even using some form or URI in the app?

If not can someone from corona please tell us why, so we (myself and other developers) don’t keep asking the same question over and over again.

You can do it if you program in XCode so why cant we have a nice Corona Wrapper Lib?

I know may developers would love to have access to execute the Music Player.

I know, I bet it’s on the list and that’s great and all but i don’t recall anyone answering the this question.

I don’t think Apple provides a URL scheme for the iPod music player so there is no way to invoke it that way.

We don’t have a API to it in Corona yet. The simple reason is we haven’t gotten around to it yet because there are so many other things people want. This has been a lower priority for us thus far.
