Hello All,
I discovered Corona about an hour ago, downloaded it played with it and loved it - I should mention that I have been a long term fan of Lua. Before I take the plunge and decide to develop my first Corona app I thought I should seem some clarifications.
Here is what I need to do

App initially for iOS but later for Android too

A relatively simple two page app - setup and mainscreen

The app needs to get local notifications when it is in the background/paused

I need to know when the app is resumed

I need to geolocate the phone from time-to-time, ideally in an automated way.

If possible I would like to use the native geo-fencing capabilities in iOS4+

I need to show a map location

Inputs are largely one or two buttons, a few radio buttons and perhaps one text box. I would like them to look “nice” but am not overly concerned about 100% native look and feel
