hello! a friend of mine gave me his macbook , and i try to install corona there, but i have a problem…

I too got one of these from a friend.

Unfortuneatly mac osx 10.6 is the latest version you can run on this device.
In order to run 10.7 or 10.8 - you need a Core2 Duo (that runs 64bit).

You will not be able to load xcode4.5 and the latest corona 919+ to do iOS6 apps on this device, but you can stay with 10.6, load a newer xcode (from the 10.7 builds) and use a older cornona build to do iOS5.1 apps.

One of the Clabs staff wrote up a procedure to use a xcode for 10.7 on a 10.6 box in this forum. Find it, and load only that xcode, and a corona sdk of about the same age…

Good Luck, the process worked for me… [import]uid: 9070 topic_id: 31345 reply_id: 125284[/import]
