Corona Project Manager for Windows

More info coming soon, but as of today CPM is available for Windows as well as Mac!

The Windows version is in beta, but at this point is feature complete with the Mac version – just a couple issues that have easy work-arounds.

Wow! That was one of the first things I was bummed about when I switched to my Windows box to do Corona dev on…and now you’ve alleviated that!! Any more details?! I’m DYIN ovah heah!!!

Thanks for the hard work! [import]uid: 11636 topic_id: 5491 reply_id: 20315[/import]

The Windows version is up and running and has the same features as the Mac version. It’s available as a beta at http://coronaprojectmanager.com

There are two unsolved issues that keep it from being “done” at the moment – the first is that when you launch the Simulator from inside CPM you have to manually quit the Simulator before you try and launch it again. Basically just adds one click to the workflow. The other issue is that the feedback from the Simulator doesn’t show inside the CPM terminal window – but it does appear in a separate DOS terminal window do it’s still available.

Hi Jay,
Out of curiosity what is CPM written with? [import]uid: 12090 topic_id: 5491 reply_id: 32328[/import]

I use REALstudio, which I have a love-hate relationship with. For the last 6 years or so I’ve been a self-employed “Mac zealot in a Windows world” which means doing stuff that’s cross-platform is a must. I’m always on the lookout for something that’s better than RS, but so far it’s (in my opinion) the best of what’s out there.

I figured going in to CPM that I’d eventually be doing a Windows version so staying with RS for this project made sense.
