I would love to make it to one of these events. Living in FL makes it very difficult. I actually thought about moving to the bay area and get even more serious about making Apps, but decided to move to New Orleans instead due to price and distance from here. Maybe if my Apps start to take off i will make a trip out there for one of the events, and to just see the city.
Carlos i want to thank you and the team for making such a solid SDK, and help us small time programers make some nice cash. I have noticed Corona seems to have grown quite a bit in the last 6-7 months that i have been using LUA, and i believe it is well deserved. There have been a few small APIs i wish Corona had, but overall i have been able to do just about everything i have set my mind on.
I just released a App called Itools which i have not even submitted on Corona yet, and honestly did not expect many downloads at all due to there being so many Level,Flashlight,Ruler apps out there already, but i have averaged 50 downloads a day for the last 3 days on a app that took me maybe 12-14 hours total making, and most of that was spent in Photoshop. I do expect it to fall off soon (crosses fingers), but i am very happy with the results and it would not have been possible to program something like that in such a short time without the help of Corona.
Now i just need to get a app that gets some real sales, and allows me to go fulltime.
