Hi y’all,
I’m planning on putting a workshop together in Austin TX to teach the basics of corona sdk to build a game in one day.
I’m barely in the planning stages and would like your feedback.
I am inquiring if anybody would be interested on attending and how much would you be willing to pay for such event.
If you were to attend:
What do you think the ‘class’ should cover that would make it worth your trip and your money?
What type of game would you like to have build (or features) would you like the game to have at the end of the day (I already got angry birds clone as a candidate)
Do you care for a book (which doesn’t exist but I heard is being work on) or a curriculum with exercises and hands-on be enough?
What would you like to get out of it at the end of the course/workshop?
Would you rather come during the week or weekend?
Or do you prefer to attend a full blown 2~3 day class and perhaps get certified at the end of it? (this might require Ansca intervention
I’m already in talks with a training center, so, how soon would you like to see this happen?
Most of you already know the basics, so I really want to make this worth it.
Any feedback to help me make this possible (or to not go through with it) would be greatly appreciated…especially from people here that have already tried failed/succeeded.
Thanks,
