I’m growing to love CIDER, but one annoyance is that the Simulator always launches behind all other windows. So… my workflow is do something in CIDER, relaunch the simulator if needed, and then waste keystrokes/mouse movements getting to my application, which is buried down below.
Do others have this problem? Is there a solution?

This is already fixed in the beta and will be available when we release 1.7. It had to do with the way we were launching Corona but now it will pop up in front.

Now… regarding 1.7 and the beta version. I want to ask about estimated release dates, but first, I’m confused about a couple of things.
The other day I downloaded the latest, which appears to be 1.5.3. After installing it, the window title shows: “Cider v1.5.3” But if I select the About Cider menu option, it shows:
Product Version: Cider 1.3
I assume that the About menu item just hasn’t been updated for a while. Is that correct?
In any case: you mention v1.7. Is there a 1.6 that I missed? And what about the beta? Is that something I can download before it’s been released? If so, where would I find it?
