I’ve installed a new build (2017.3135) after that I’ve got a strange warning at the Corona simulator startup:
“Warning: Unable to fetch primary machine ID. (Error Code: 1332)”
I’ve never seen such error before with previous builds. The simulator operates as usual, but the message confuses me a lot. I’m using Windows 7 64-bit.

I’ve never seen that either and I had to dig into the code to see what causes it. Basically it will be displayed if the Simulator is using the MAC address of your network adapter as the “deviceID” instead of an id supplied by Windows itself. Why this should happen now when the same code has been in use for several years is a mystery.
tl;dr: it’s a message that can be ignored
