Corona Simulator Crashing at Startup

As the title mentions I am having issues getting corona simulator to start.

So what is happening is when I start the Corona Simulator, it immediately crashes and a Windows notification appears and gives me the option to debug or close the program.

The Corona debugger comes up but exits almost immediately and cannot read if any messages appear on it.

Just to clarify; when I start Corona Simulator I do not get to any kind of menu or splash screen, only the debugger appears but immediately closes.

I have tried re-installing, re-downloading and installing again, and restarting my computer between uninstall and the install.

Here is some information that may be of use for resolving this issue:

Corona Version: CoronaSDK-2014.2511.msi

Operating System: Windows 7 Professional, Service Pack 1 (64-bit)

Computer Model: Dell Optiplex 980 MT

Processor: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 860 @ 2.80GHz

RAM: 12.0 GB DDR3

I have disabled UAC for windows as well.

If there is anything else you need to know, I would be happy to give you that information.

What you’re seeing is highly unusual unless you are running an old version of OpenGL, which we try to detect and give you a warning message. Can you try running a recent daily build and see if you are still having the same problem.
