Corona simulator not responding (OSX)

After a day’s work with Corona, I usually get many instances of the Corona Simulator process (but only one visible window) and often one of them marked as “not responding”

 

This is very annoying as these processes can’t be terminated (force quitting them does nothing on these processes). 

I’m using Sublime Text 3 with the Corona SDK plugin and I’m in OSX 10.9.5. I download the latest version daily and this has been happening since last year. 

The only way to fix this problem is by rebooting my system.

Is anyone else having this problem too?

This happens occasionally on my system as well. However Force-Quitting does work for me. It can take up to 60 seconds before they finally disappear though. Whenever I see more than one Corona Simulator in the dock I always kill them to make sure they don’t “pile up”.

OS X 10.10.2

Sublime Text 3 with Corona Editor plugin version 2015.01.02
