Corona simulator problem - dashboard shows blank white screen, and games show up with black screen

I’m having problems with the corona simulator - it’s suddenly showing the dashboard (when open) as a blank white screen, and any apps I open up that previously worked are now with a black screen - I haven’t updated or done anything new today to my Mac - no software updates, no new builds installed, it’s the same 1202 daily build I’ve been using - can anyone please enlighten me as to what I can do to resolve this? 

 

Again, haven’t dome any software updates today, any updates to the daily builds, nothing new - this is the first time I’ve seen this issue

Does anyone have a solution for this? I have no clue how to fix it and have reinstalled Corona, and tried everything to no avail.

do you see any errors in terminal when you run your project?

No errors in the terminal - this is happening with all projects - ones that I was working on this morning that had no issues, and were completed… 

And the popup dashboard that normally shows the various tabs to enter - is a blank, white screen, any apps I open up are playing the music, but are a black screen in the simulator - this is a very weird bug, never experienced this in the 2+ years using Corona

Opening up the terminal, and opening up any projects that were working this morning now produces this error - I’m using the same build - 1202 that I was using to publish apps this morning, and now they are turning up with a blank screen… any suggestions?

I think this is something Corona staff needs to look into - I was getting notifications on my other computer that my Pro subscription was expiring when it wasn’t expiring until January - someone from your staff went in and deauthorized my account so that I could sign back in and reauthorize it.

I signed out, de-authorized from my end, signed back in, and nothing is helping. 

I believe this has something to do with it not recognizing I have Pro.

If someone from staff can respond, I’d appreciate it

After playing around with it, it seems that the games only display in the simulator if I select “zoom out” on the tablet devices - they won’t show up if they are bigger on my iMac.

This has never been an issue before with this build - 1202 - this just happened suddenly yesterday evening.

The simulator works if I use smaller devices like the iPhone 4 and 5, or if I “Zoom out” on the tablets like the Galaxy, and iPad.

Admins - I need a response of some sort, thank you.

I’m having trouble following exactly what the problem is.  I gather than the simulator is having some display issues, but I’m not sure what you mean by the dashboard being white and involving tabs.

Are you sure nothing has changed on your computer.  This sounds like a memory problem where we can’t render textures properly.  Click on your Apple icon in the top left corner and then click on “About this Mac”, make sure you haven’t lost a memory bank or something.

There is a limited amount of server contact on start up that validates your account, but we generally don’t call back to the server unless you need a plugin or attempt to build.
