Corona Simulator problem

Hi Guys!

I’m quite new here, so at first I want to say “Hi”! :slight_smile:

I’ve installed on my laptop Corona SDK simulator.

When I run it, I get black screen with white rectangular in it (see attachment).

It’s a fresh 2013.2100 installation (I’ve tried reinstall it 3 times and nothing changed).

I’ve got quite old laptop (T61 Lenovo) with 3 GB RAM, C2D processor, integrated intel graphics with OpenGL 2.0 and installed jdk 6u45.

Did any of you encountered similar probelm?

Can you help me find out what’s wrong?

I’m having the same problem. Running Windows 7 Ultimate on a ThinkPad X300. Getting no error messages from Corona.

This is due to the OpenGL drivers.  This has been fixed in a daily build after 2100, but for now, the best thing you can do is to try an update your drivers to support at least OpenGL 2.1 or find a newer computer to run it on.   We’ve not set a release date for the next public build where this will be fixed for Starter and Basic accounts.
