Corona Software Support for Mac OSX 10.5 Leopard

Hello All,

I’m new to the site and programming in general. I’m interested in getting into app development and would like to try the Corona software, however, the versions available for download seem to only go back to Mac OSX 10.6 Snow Leopard. Is there a version that 10.5 Leopard users could use?

Thanks,

Mike

Hi Mike,

Corona SDK is not supported on OS X 10.5. Part of developing for iOS means that you need to adhere to Apple’s development tools as well, including Xcode, and for iOS7 development, you’ll need a current version of Xcode which runs only on 10.8.x and above. So, upgrading your development platform will be required for iOS development with Corona, just like native iOS development would require.

Hope this helps,
