I know this is the “Newbie Questions” area and this isn’t a question, but I just downloaded Corona for the first time and, naturally, was presented with the Terms of Service agreement when I opened the dmg. Having just read the blog post from last year that talked about Corona going free and the change of distribution models (among other things), I noticed an inconsistency between that post and the ToS. The post says that the Enterprise and Unlimited models were being retired and that the income restrictions were being lifted, however the ToS I just read upon opening the MacOS 2018.3326 build was last updated October 1, 2016 so it still mentions the Enterprise and Unlimited models and still specifies the enforcement of income restrictions. If this is no longer how Corona is being managed then it is probably necessary to update the ToS to reflect current models and practices. It’s probably not too significant an issue, but I’m no legal expert so maybe it is.
I just figured since I searched for and didn’t find any other post on the forums mentioning the Terms of Service that I would bring it up in case it was an oversight (like maybe there’s an updated version that’s meant to be included with new builds but isn’t, or something) or just so that it’s known in case those who should know about the issue aren’t aware. If this isn’t the right place to mention it, or this isn’t the right way to bring it up, then my apologies and I shall endeavor to use the appropriate methods in the future.
Hopefully this reaches the right people.
