So I have been looking through the docs for the last couple daily builds in my free time and stumbled on some cool info. Found some cool api’s that look like they are related to making classes with inheritance and creating plugins? They are called: CoronaClass, CoronaLibrary, CoronaProtoype, and CoronaProvider. I’d be interested if the staff could give us some info on them as they aren’t fully documented yet. I may in-fact be really far behind so I apologize if this is an obvious question
Bump:)
I’ve seen these referenced in the build notes too. Haven’t seen any official word on what they are, so I assume they are not ready for use yet
I think its for their new plugin architecture that used to be exclusivity for Enterprise.
Ah, I hope plugins will not be expensive as we are at the point where we are juggling between Gideros and Corona. Corona being more established and having an awesome graphics engine while Gideros being more open and a bit more advanced. Hopefully Corona can win us back over with plugins.
Ideally if the plugins are provided and maintained by someone outside of CoronaLabs (which is the entire point of the plugins), that person/entity would have the choice of charging for their plugin or giving it away for free.
