Coronado IDE, Windows-based IDE with code-completion/intellisense and graphics tools

Hi all, I posted this in the 3rd-party forum a few days ago, but I think it’s apropos here as well for those who are interested. Not intending to spam, just letting anyone who may be interested know what we’re up to.

We are working aggressively on Coronado, a Windows-based IDE specifically for the Corona SDK. Here are the features:

* Color syntax highlighting for Lua AND the Corona API

* Code-completion and intellisense style help for instantiated Corona API objects (i.e. local instances, not just the API itself.)

* Scene editor which generates Lua code into your project

* Support for network folders, to open/edit projects on Mac from PC

* Image viewer with auto-trace for physics images

* Image packing and automated sprite sheet generation

* Audio preview

Our price will be $69.95, but alpha “early adopters” will get it for $49.95. Free minor-level updates, 40% off major upgrades. We won’t offer alpha until we feel it is going to be of significant benefit to those intrepid early adopters.

Who we are: prior to starting DreamBlue, we worked for major game development companies (Acclaim, Midway Studios) and have been developing games and applications since the 1980’s.

Currently, I’m asking anyone interested in the alpha release to e-mail me at jnagle@dreamblue.com. Not a commitment to buy, just gauging interest, and will e-mail you as soon as its ready for alpha.

Thanks,
-John

PS:

Here’s a screen shot that shows the code completion for the SDK. This info automatically updates from the Corona docs on the web. Code completion on instances is in progress right now, but not yet ready to show.

And our pretty logo. :slight_smile:
