Just installed CoronaSDK 2011.636
When launching the application it gives following error…
“Could not launch Corona Simulator”
“A fatal error has occurred” [import]uid: 10478 topic_id: 16216 reply_id: 316216[/import]
Just wanted to add that I"m on MAC & 2011.635 works OK.
Could be related to “Mac: Add new welcome screen/demo” change in 636 [import]uid: 10478 topic_id: 16216 reply_id: 60350[/import]
I’m on a Mac and also getting the same “fatal error” message. Going to give it a go on Windows now.

I see that this thread is a few months old but I couldn’t find anyone else complaining about this issue.
I’ve just started using 704 - the Corona Simulator runs fine until I try to launch the Corona Terminal.
The Terminal launches but I get the same ‘fatal error’ mentioned above.
Then, after that, I have to reinstall to get the Simulator working again.
Anyone else experienced this? I’m new to Corona but not entirely new to app dev - Corona looks really promising but if I can’t use print() to debug I may have to shelve it for the time being.
