Great screencast. Looks very nice. Please sign me up as a tester and let me know when I can start. Thanks

Awesome develephant!  This looks great, very nice job on the video.

I’ve always struggled with implementing the php on the server side and will be thrilled to be able to use lua code on it now.

Cool beans, sign me in as well please

Hello,

I appreciate the feedback.  I’ll be sending out updates on the Coronium Google group, so make sure you join up.

Cheers.

I joined the group. This sounds great

Great stuff!

Could this be used for turnbased multiplayer?

@aliennude It certainly can.  It’s one of the reasons I’m building it.  Once the project matures I’ll be spending time showing how to do it.

Be sure to follow on the Google group.

Cheers.

I’ve posted an overview of the MySQL adapter here for those interested.

Cheers.

.

This is amazing! Breakneck speed. Thanks for putting all this energy into this project. Most excited!!!

very cool! so basically, we also will be able to get direct access to the database? like, for example, we have made a bug and want to restore the consumables of a user, we could simply access the database by web console etc?

@dingo I don’t have much experience with the IAP side of things, so I can’t answer you there.  But the MySQL adapter basically allows you to connect to any MySQL database that you have access to, locally or hosted elsewhere.

Hope that helps.

Cheers.

I’ve got 2 more test accounts if anyone wants to just noodle around with the Lua Cloud Code.  They are temporary accounts on private instances so there is nothing to lose.

Drop me a line at coronium at develephant dot com if interested.

Cheers.

@develephant has been an absolute gem to work with. I am happy to have access to one of his test instances and will be taking Coronium for a spin later today. Will report back on my early experience knowing full well that this is early alpha phase. Still a very capable middleware it seems to be. Thank you very much!!!

Hey Develephant. I joined the google group but didn’t get access yet. I would love to give this a whirl.

PS: you do a very professional voice over. Are you open to doing a voice over for a project for some cash? Just talking theoretically here

Thanks

Well, basically I just need access to all the data.

But this is great. This means that me or someone could simply do the whole SQL tables and all, and we have a turn based mechanism pretty fast. We only would need to use your adapter and write a few methods.

Awesome.

Just finished setting up my test instance of Coronium running on @Develephant’s server running against my MySQL server running on my server. I am able to run through the CRUD samples @Develephant demo’ed in his video earlier on. Next step is to tie it to my simple app using bunch of newEditFields etc. Fun stuff!!! Way to go @Develephant!!!

More to follow…

@ksan: go for it!

@Gremlin Interactive Thanks for the kind feedback, of course I think I could improve it a lot, but I’d be interested if the opportunity arose.  Not sure why you didn’t get in the group, I thought it was set to allow new users automatically.  I’ll take a look.

@ksan You are my hero right now.  Break that thing.

Got a couple other testers coming on board today as well.  Thanks for the feedback and help everyone.

Cheers.
