I was wondering whether anyone knows the underlying cost of the # operator to get the length of a table (where the table is numerical indexed with non-null entries).
On the one hand, I can imagine it being being very clever, on the other hand I can also imagine it being incredibly dumb. I just can’t find out from the net which one it is.
