Could not find Developer Disk Image

On my Xcode devices window I have an orange triangle on one of my devices with the warning “Could not find Developer Disk Image”. The other device I had connected at the time doesn’t have the warning.

It doesn’t seem to affect building or moving/running development apps to that device - but it just bugs me.

This started to happen when I updated the iPad Pro to iOS 10 and even after I updated my Mac to macOS Sierra (10.12).

Any ideas?

If I remember correctly, the way to get rid of it is to update the iOS SDK that Xcode uses, which I think means updating Xcode itself.

Generally I tend to just ignore the message, because updating Xcode is a pain in the backside.
