CPM 2.5.0 - Issue with Go To Function Definition

Argh!

New feature – select (highlight) a function name in your code, right-click and choose Go To Function Definition, and it jumps you to that spot in the code.

Unless you have no functions in that source code, in which case it throws an error.

Sheesh!

I should have it fixed by tomorrow. Until then, just put a function in your code if you want to use that feature.

Did you just get these bug reports? In that case…it was from me… [import]uid: 13560 topic_id: 13879 reply_id: 50998[/import]

Yes, thanks for sending those.

Okay, it’s fixed – and I enhanced it a little bit. Now you don’t have to select the function name, just right-click on it and it’ll figure out what you want without highlighting (although highlighting will still work).

I’m going to pound on it for a while longer to make sure I didn’t introduce anything untoward, and then since I have to make 4 different installers per update that will take a few more (booooring) hours, so look for the update tomorrow.

PS - Wouldn’t it be cool if you could right-click something like newImageRect and it would open a tab with the API documentation for that. Yeah, it would be cool. Maybe someday… [import]uid: 9440 topic_id: 13879 reply_id: 51003[/import]

You know what would be great, since the Api docs come as an html file, wouldn’t it be nice to open that doc in a tab?

A lot of docs comes in PDF, it would be awesome if we could open them in tabs too.
