CPM and OS X Lion Issues/Questions

Mac OS X Lion was released this morning and I’m updating my laptop right now. Since Corona SDK won’t work with Lion yet I can’t update my main dev machine, but should be able to test CPM on the laptop later today.

(Note: Yes the latest daily build of Corona SDK works with Lion, but I don’t use those – I do my development only on the last stable release.)

Use this thread to let me know about any CPM issues you find that seem to be Lion-related.

And after I’ve tested things I’ll post my findings, too.

First indications are no problems with CPM and OS X Lion.

Just installed Lion, ran CPM, and edited a file in Roly-Polies HD and then clicked Launch. When Corona Simulator launched it needed to download Java. After that was all done I had to quit the version of Simulator that had launched, and after that clicking the Launch button in CPM launched the project like normal.

I only spent about 10 minutes playing around so testing wasn’t “extensive” but it’s looking good. :slight_smile:

Cool, thanks for the report!

I guess my job for August will be to start looking at how to implement the neat Lion features like full screen, autosave, etc.

Yep all is well, compiling for device was fixed once I upgraded to xCode 4.1 and downloaded the latest daily build. Did a little bug fixing on my latest game and CPM was performing great.
