I’ve been working non stop on this for the past few of weeks as a major update to my game, Super iBot, that went live in the App Store last weekend. I’ll probably submit this update in the next few days.
Super iBot has a Level Editor that enables users to design and create their own levels that they can play and save to their device, but this wasn’t enough for me and thought it would be so much better if users could share their custom levels with other users, but I had no idea how to do it.
So after a few weeks of struggling, I got it all working to my satisfaction and just had to make this post showing what can be done by integrating a database with a Corona app.
Here’s my “Search Tips” video that will be added to the app, it should give other newb developers an idea of the possibilities that can be done with database integration.
The “WildCard” database search engine is a great feature IMO.
