Create Shortcut of Game on Home Screen

Hi everyone,

How can i create my game shortcut on my home screen for android.

Is there any API for this.

Because some games when downloaded from play store, create a shortcut on home screen.

Android will do this for you automatically (at least, it does for me) – if the app is new (not an update) and there is enough room on the home screens.
