Creating a landscape oriented game using corona sdk

Is there a way to specify if an app/game is landscape or portrait? I can see the default is portrait but wondered if I wanted to make it landscape if there is a setting or if I have to do all my coding and graphics at 90 degrees rotation?

yes, via a build.settings file entry.

The section about Auto-Rotation is your friend.

@Ansca: After removing the PDF help files, how is someone able to find the information via the search functionality? I prefer a search and printable PDF file anytime over anything else.

Thanks Mike. That is just what I am after. I am pleased I do not have to code at right angles.

I only want my game to work in landscape mode so assume this is the code I need in my build settings:
