Creating an interactive ebook using Corona SDK

Hello,

I just published 2 animated story and interactive game books in the iBook store using iBooks Author and a series of widgets built in other applications.  I would like to publish my books on the android tablets.  

I found an app  called “A New Home for Charlie the Chocolate Chihuahua” build by Fat Red Couch using Corona SDK.  My iBooks are very similar in that they have a section for “Read to Me” one for “Read Myself” and one for “Fun and Games” that include a slew of activity pages.

     

Can anyone tell me how to get started creating something similar using Corona SDK.  Are there any videos or tutorials that explain how to build an ebook?   What about coloring pages and jigsaw puzzles for example?  I have watched the online videos but they are more into game apps and not the ebook feature.   You can visit my website and see a “sneak peek” video into one of my books so you can get an idea of what I am doing.  http://www.cefathecat.com

I know I can hire someone to do it for me but that will be expensive.  I am retired so have plenty of time on my hands and would love the challenge.

To scottrules44.  I do know about kwik2 and it looks really interesting but you need a later version of photoshop.  I have an older version that it will not work on.  I am not a fan of “renting” software which seems to be the only way you can use adobe now-days.  If I can find a newer version that I can purchase then maybe…  I did try using bing to see what is out there and i found one video series that looks promising but it is old (4 years) and not complete.  Will keep looking.  Maybe google has a better list.

To FearTec.  Thanks for the info.  I would like to make sure I can produce something that I like and works well before I spend $99 (U.S.)  I am able to publish on iBooks so that’s a start.  (PS where are you in Aussie?  Have family in Brisbane.)

Will keep plodding on…

I used kwik1 but soon jumped to pure corona as it had more flexibility and less risk (and cheaper).
