What is the best workflow for creating complex animations? Let’s say I have a big character that is made up of lots of individual pieces and I want to animate it in an animated sequence. What is the best way to go about that?
I realise animation can be done programmatically but that’s not good in this case. It needs a third party tool such as Adobe Animate or Character Animator, and then for that animation to be imported into Corona. Is that possible? I realise that it could be done with video, but if the animations have to vary or be triggered according to actions in the app video is a crude and inflexible way to do it.
What tools and workflow do people use for this type of complex animation?
Hi @james.bcn6,
If you’re a bit daring, you might explore Spine (www.esotericsoftware.com) as a comprehensive way to animate characters with multiple parts. There is a Corona runtime for Spine, and the following subforum is a good place to seek help on this matter:

ok thanks. This looks like an option. I’ve found Adobe Character Animator to be a bit annoying to use - I guess because it’s still in Beta.
I’m not sure what the advantage of Spine is over Adobe Animate, but I guess I can ask that in the forum.
