Our new game, Crystal Caverns, just came out on iPhone and Android. I think it turned out pretty well.

I am a big fan of bubble popper style games and I like your game play. The logic for aiming and releasing your crystal to me seems very intuitive and easy to use.

The two pieces of feedback I would have is number one “Tell a Friend about Crystal Caverns”. In general I call my family, I email the people I work with and for telling my friends about great games I use social media. I might be weird this way but I don’t even have many of my “friends who play games” email addresses.

The second piece is accessibility for people with color blindness. I have mild color blindness and when playing your game it really causes issues. I see you have not only color but some patterns to your crystal and that is a nice bit of help but it is not enough for me to be able to reliably distinguish the difference between the different colored crystals. I think my biggest problem is distinguishing the difference between the orange and green. I can tell you from experience nothing frustrates me more when playing a puzzle game where accuracy is so crucial then thinking I am made a good move only to find out it was not because I could not tell the difference between two colors.

Fuzzy Bomb,
thanks for the feedback. It all makes sense. I implemented email mainly for reasons of convenience, but I’ll look harder into adding facebook.

I think it should be pretty straightforward to add a glyph on top of the gems for color-blind people. I was a bit worried about this problem, but at some point you just have to launch!

Always glad to give feedback. Email is defiantly better the nothing.

There are always a large pile of stuff you want to get done before launch. But, when it comes down to it I agree with you it gets to a point where you just have to launch. Updates can always come later.

If you get an update with the added glyphs and want me to take a look let me know.

Looking at your website I realized I have one of your other games on my iPad Word Search +. It’s a fun game.
