After five months of development, Cupcake Cascade is now available for download on Google Play.

Thanks Rob, over the next few days I’ll be posting the details of the launch experience for a new Indie developer on the blog over at http://guardsheep.com/blog including number of installs for paid and free versions, ad revenue and how we’re trying to market the app to get more exposure.
It’s been an interesting launch week for Cupcake Cascade - I’ve written a blog on the launch including download numbers, advertising figures and the ups and downs of the Google Play store.
We managed to break into the top 100 new paid apps on Google Play but all may not be as good as it seems…

The iOS version of Cupcake Cascade has now been completed and is currently under review with Apple. Hoping to release to the new platform in the next 1-2 weeks.
The Android version has now reached almost 2,000 installs and growing, so hoping the iOS version will match this initial success and then grow via Social network integration!
After one rejection from Apple, Cupcake Cascade is now live on the Apple App Store at:

We’ve had to make some tweaks to the free version as the original allowed users to unlock levels by posting to Facebook. Apple rejected the app due to this as all content must be unlocked via the Apple in-app purchase process.
The free version on iOS now offers the first three levels from each episode and so gives a good flavor of the additional features that become available later in the game.
