I been checking “daily builds” maybe 3-6 times a day, a bad habit…give something back, please!

I imagine they took a couple of weeks off, following their rally from 784 to 828? We have been treated very nicely in the recent times.

Stick to the plan ansca laid out. The first set of features, and the second. Virtually none of us need a literal “Daily build”, so don’t stick to that religiously, certainly not if it’s going to affect the overall development plan.

As addicted to daily builds as I am, I can appreciate, hitting a point where you’re in a heavy QA period to make the stable build and that a pause in daily builds is to be expected.
However I think better communications would help. Ansca has done a good job on the macro level on talking about the roadmap and how they are developing things, but on a micro level communications could be a bit better… Like a note on the daily builds page saying, dailies are suspended while we QA the next public build would help us addicts quite a bit.

We released build 840 yesterday (6/20). The Daily Builds only occur when something new is checked in. That doesn’t happen every day so there will be days when there is no new Daily Build. The automated build process happens around 2 AM PST if there is something new to build. We can also start a new build at any time if there is something important that can’t wait until the automated build starts.
