Hi i know subscribers only get the daily builds… but wouldn’t it be wise for Ansca to give the test drivers the daily build features as that would boost sales ??? Thanks [import]uid: 90369 topic_id: 22329 reply_id: 322329[/import]
Nope [import]uid: 29181 topic_id: 22329 reply_id: 88976[/import]
Daily builds are one of the benefits of being a licensed Corona developer - they contain bug fixes and brand new features which we want our subscribers to have access to immediately.
The stable builds are totally functional without any time limit (used to be 30 days) and therefore provide test users with more than enough to evaluate the SDK and decide whether or not it is right for them before purchasing a license.
I think the current system is good for everyone
(This is just my opinion and is not intended to represent an official standpoint, as it is not.)

@peach pellen True the current system is good for everyone… But what im trying to say is test drivers cant publish games with out subscribing…
So its a bit pointless saying get subscribed to have bug fixes or few sample apps and some extra features… Why not just have a full open system ?? Because at the end of the day we still have to pay?? Thanks [import]uid: 90369 topic_id: 22329 reply_id: 90310[/import]
It’s an incentive to pay earlier

It’s a perk for our licensed developers - as you said, you need a license to publish so you’ll eventually get access to them anyway

Plus, if I’m going to have tire-kickers (not meant in a derogatory way) play with my product to see if they like it, I want them playing with the latest STABLE version, not the one that’s on the bleeding edge.
