and there have been build errors like not giving download links, etc.
As a daily builds addict, I have to admit I miss getting reasonably daily drops, but they did say they were going to a new development process that I will grossly describe as “Agile Like” where there are 2 week cycles of development.
I know that their daily build process revolves around code being checked in to their version management system… no check in’s = no daily builds. But in these cyclic development methods, you don’t always check in every day.

Yes but they also said it was a 2 week bug fixes and then 2 week features.
If this was a free SDK then I would have no problems, I was personally e-mailed by staff 8 weeks ago saying that a feature I had requested and was considering paying them for them to bring forward, was 2 weeks away.
Is it me or does it seem that since there has been a structure change and the name change that less has been done?
When a feature call ‘Daily Builds’ is not ‘Daily’ and only 2 updates in 3 weeks (3 if you count the one where there is no file to download) then something is wrong.

@cublah. It does seem like things have slowed down with the SDK itself since all of the announcements in mid-June and not just the daily builds. A lot of the things that were posted in various blogs around mid-June haven’t really happened. From where I’m sitting it looks more like the resolutions they had made never really got executed.

It does feel like its gone rather quiet.
Many of the daily builds don’t have notes either.

Hey guys, just wanted to throw in a quick comment here. You are absolutely right - the last week or two daily builds slowed down a bit. But this is not at all how things will be going forward.
There are two specific items that reduced our speed in the last couple of weeks:
- we are getting ready for Mountain Lion. As you guys know, Apple sometimes makes changes without much warning and we are trying to make sure there are no issues. It looks like it’s coming out this coming week.
- we are also making sure the simulator works well on Macbooks with the retina screen
So those two things have meant a lot of non-public facing work that unfortunately needs to get done. At the same time, we are working on several features - especially on the Android side (webviews, videoviews and maps).
But you are right in that we should have communicated all this better, and I promise we will in the future. Walter was also on well-deserved mini-vacation the second half of this past week, but he’ll chime in early next week.

Any update on what’s going on with daily builds now Mountain Lion has been released? recently the site keeps showing me a new daily build was released but when i go to release notes nothing’s listed and no DMG to download (case in point it shows for me an update on Aug 29th at 4+pm but nothing listed on the daily build section) [import]uid: 6317 topic_id: 28881 reply_id: 121928[/import]
