Darkant GUI for Corona SDK

A little “Offtopic”.

I am developing a Library Pack (image and sound) of a custom GUI for Corona SDK.

My idea is to develop mini-applications also form-based, and do not want the appearance is exactly like all the iPhone apps (though similar) in order to use Android for example.

Any comments will be welcome to improve it.

Tell us more, is it for sales? Would checkboxes be supported? Easy to select color scheme? [import]uid: 3867 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 3034[/import]

Oops, I have not explained well (I have bad English).

Only graphic resources (lists, check, radio, buttons of different colors ,…) and sound, ready to use, however I would make a library (. Lua) to generate the elements dynamically. Although for that I need help  could be very good for developing form-based applications.

So what am I doing thinking about Corona SDK.

And it will be free, of course. [import]uid: 6934 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 3035[/import]

I believe some people are interested in more form based/business applications in Corona.

So the library is used to generate pre-canned graphic/sound resources? Is the library in lua?

Is this done?

If so, what’s your paypal? I’d like to donate =) [import]uid: 7366 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 4001[/import]

I think it would work nicely as a stylish game settings screen. Looks nice and polished. [import]uid: 7640 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 4165[/import]

Looks really nice, would love to have a play with it, [import]uid: 7334 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 4426[/import]

This looks great and i would be very interested in it. I would pay for it. Can you give us more informations about availability? =) And of course give us a possibility to donate for your work =)

Any update on this on where to buy/get it from? [import]uid: 7334 topic_id: 1161 reply_id: 5057[/import]

Here’s a device version that is just started as an experiment, if people like it and ready to pay for it, there is point in developing it further.

It is a visual designer on the device to design the levels and edit code attached to the objects. So create the entire stuff on your device, send it to the desktop for compiling and voila!!

It is still an experiment and needs quite bit of work to be fully functional.

Here is a demo video to see what it can do and how it could be used.

feedback appreciated.

cheers,

@GameHKMail, the app is being made in ObjectiveC, I did think of making it in CoronaSDK, but each has its advantages and Disadvantages. I will wait for the UI library that Ansca is releasing soon, if that does not do what a lot of us are expecting it to do, then I shall look at your solution.

You have a very good solution, but I guess it is your timing, it is just too close to Ansca’s release of the same official controls.

cheers,

Maybe you can make use of my UI library to make your app. Hope it helps.

Hi jayantv,
The official Corona UI lib has been released. I have been differentiating my UI lib from the official one by adding extra features. It’s now called Advanced UI for Corona.
