Day 12 and counting - Waiting for Review

This is beyond frustrating.   I submitted an upgrade to an already approved game and here we are, 12 days later, waiting for review.   I used the iTunes Connect contact form a couple days ago to get a status update, but never heard back.

I’m really, really sick of Apple’s policies.

Anyone else getting delayed lately?

Coming up on 7 days for me.

sheesh, thanks for the heads up.

Worst part is that my game doesn’t work on Android - half the images look pixelated, some even just show as black boxes, and of course the audio sucks - either delayed using audio, or non-mixed using media.

Yep, looks like it’s trending toward 10 days now.    How does that one dude get a 2 day review while the rest languish?   Probably knows one of the reviewers.

Apple’s products + Android’s free app marketplace would be heaven for developers.

The App review Times website:  http://appreviewtimes.com/

says 7 days right now.  Apple is working on iOS 8 and getting ready to release it next week (in all likely hood), so this time of year times are longer than normal.  12 days is very unusual though.

Rob

That’s a 14-day rolling average.   Look at recent data.

Mistake on my part in the OP - 11 days for my latest upload.

Well based on that, you’re right in that Window.  Blame iOS 8

Yeah, I guess.   I’d be OK with human reviewers for an initial launch, but updates should be automated, reviewed after they’re live, if need be.

Put something in the dev agreement that if you sneak in something in an update that is against their guidelines, your app gets taken down for a month.   2nd offense, lifetime ban.

Just spitballing.

Finally.
