DEAD_CODE_STRIPPING and signing the app

Hi,

I have to enable dead code stripping, but after that, Corona Builder can’t sign the app.

There was a question about it on the boards, but it was ignored.

I can’t use some of the libraries without it, and it’s my requirement.

Could you please tell me if there’s anything I can do to make it work, and if not, why?

Thanks

Krystian

Let me see what I can find out… Is this an iOS build or an Android build?

Are you getting specific errors?

Thanks

Rob

Hi Rob

This is for iOS.

Thanks for taking interest in this.

I have found another version of Corona which would sign fine, however then, the .a libraries are not added to the build.

If I force add then manually then I get errors indicating that some other libraries are not compatible with xcode 6.4 build.

So it’s a lost cause.

Thanks

Krystian

Xcode 6 can build iOS 8 apps. I don’t now that you could submit an Xcode 6 built app to Apple today.

Any way, can I get the Xcode version you’re trying to build with?

The Enterprise version you’re trying to build with?

A copy/paste of the complete log from the time you told it to build

I’ll need that info to ask Engineering about it.

Thanks

Rob
