Debugging in LuaEclipse

Apparently LuaEclipse version 1.3.0 (beta), with the help of RemDebug, is able to connect to a remote lua program and perform interactive debugging (setting breakpoints, inspecting variables, etc.)

Has anyone gotten this configuration to work? Anyone at Ansca Mobile? How do you guys do your development?

I’d like to use an IDE like Eclipse to debug my scripts, rather than a command line tool like the debugger shipped with the Corona SDK. Would make things several times faster for me. I have Eclipse 3.3 (Europa) installed, and LuaEclipse 1.2 installed on that. But I cannot get the 1.3.0 beta version installed. Is there a beta update-site that is working? Or any info on how to do a manual install over the 1.2 stuff?

Any help appreciated. [import]uid: 4526 topic_id: 413 reply_id: 300413[/import]

We use Eclipse Helios and LuaEclipse 1.3 (manual install)

Have you been able to add the CoronaSDK Api to Eclipse’s code-completion & syntax highlighting? [import]uid: 4596 topic_id: 413 reply_id: 41944[/import]

And are you guys going to give LuaEclipse a try with Eclipse 3.7 Indigo? [import]uid: 4596 topic_id: 413 reply_id: 41976[/import]
