delay user-request for push notification permissions (feature request)

I keep reading metric after metrics where up to 60% of users are DECLINING push-notification permission when the app first starts up.  The app-designers getting better results WAIT to ask until AFTER educating the user about the benefits of granting permission.

Is this something that others would like to control themselves, and if so, please weigh-in with a plus-one so the CL engineering team becomes aware this is a desired feature…

I agree. Personally I always reject push notifications if the app prompts me immediately after starting.
