Detecting Carrier in Corona SDK

Greetings !

Is there a way within a lua program to detect the carrier for the device ? It would be very handy (for both Ios and Android) I have been looking around and have not found any reference to this

There must be some way as Flurry Anaylictics pick up the carrier or ISP, however I do not think it’s an API that is within Corona. [import]uid: 62706 topic_id: 31871 reply_id: 127182[/import]
