Detecting Extension-Of-The-Arm-motion

Hello! Is there any way, using the accelerometer and/or the gyroscope, to detect an extension of the arm motion? For example, if I hold the device in my hand close to my body, then extend my arm. I’ve compared how the xInstant/yInstant/zInstant change, but they vary from every try?

Anyone have any advices?

Thanks in advance, [import]uid: 14018 topic_id: 8220 reply_id: 308220[/import]

I think you can detect a rapid change in position, but there’s no way to distinguish between the person jumping forward and quickly extending their arm. What is the reason you need this? [import]uid: 12108 topic_id: 8220 reply_id: 29392[/import]
