Developing an app a proprietary app, what kind of Corona license do I need?

I am a Corona developer who has experience using the free version of Corona.  I have just been hired to create a proprietary app for a client and I’m wondering if I need to upgrade my account for this project.

Here are the project details:

The client wants me to develop a training app, basically a collection of documents and videos that the user can browse.  The app will be used by up to 1500 employees on Android tablets.  The app will not need to connect to a database or external website or use any fancy APIs.  The client does not want to put the app on Google Play, they are looking to just install the app on each employees tablet manually.

Is there an issue using the free license with Corona to build such an app?  Or do I need to upgrade to Small Business or even Enterprise?

Thanks.

You can use the license ( Corona SDK ) you are using and make that app with no problems! If you run into any problems ill be glad to help! Just contact me in private chat!

It’s not proprietary anymore.

As @SonicX278 noted, you should have no issue in using the free version. I’m sure someone from Corona will provide a response in either case.

I just wouldn’t want to be the one to have install all the apps stuffed with video files. Not having some type of CDN is odd. Seems like any updates would be heinous to roll out each time.

Cheers.
