Developing For IPAD using PC .. MacInCloud

I have a PC and want to still develope for the Ipad2, and understand without a Mac, I will need to use such a service as MacInCloud,

Has anyone been using this service and can you tell me if it is fairly seamless and no real issues? does it get the job done 100% ?

Are there any other such services (better or worse)? Are there any other work arounds?

Thanks [import]uid: 35148 topic_id: 24849 reply_id: 324849[/import]

I haven’t used the service but a few developers have spoke to me praising it in the past.

Hopefully someone will answer who has used it and offer their 2 cents. (There are not other “work arounds” for building, no, you must have access to a Mac.) [import]uid: 52491 topic_id: 24849 reply_id: 100962[/import]

I plan on using Mac in a cloud after i am done with my android version, you cant beat the price, for 50$ a month you can have unlimited access to a mac via remote connection. Corona comes preloaded, so i plan to get the majority of it done on my pc then move it over to the cloud for testing and building, the service looks great. One feature i like is you can use tablets to access the cloud so i will be able to use the service on an ipad or android tablet. [import]uid: 126161 topic_id: 24849 reply_id: 100985[/import]

Thanks peach! Hopefully someone who has used it will chime in.

You might be able to tell me, once I use the MacInCloud or even someone else’s Mac to ‘build for an Ipad’ what is the final file/package extension name? is it .apk ? or what? AND, once it is built and the app file saved back to my PC, in order to test it on the actual hardware(Ipad2), what ways are there to just copy that file over from my PC to the Ipad2? Or maybe someone who has used the MacInCloud might know.
Thanks much! [import]uid: 35148 topic_id: 24849 reply_id: 100988[/import]

Thanks. I think the pricing sounds fairly good, and in theory what the service is providing should work well. Hopefully, can hear from someone that has used it with good or bad experience.

Thanks again. [import]uid: 35148 topic_id: 24849 reply_id: 100990[/import]
