I donât know what all is involved if youâre not in the US, but here was the process for me:
- Apply as a Developer and they do ask a lot of questions, but there wasnât anything I wasnât able to easily provide.
- Apply a 2nd time as an **App** Developer, answering most of the same questions a 2nd time. This needs approved. They were having some site problems and it was hard for me to track my progressâŚ
one that was done, then for each app:
-
Create the app and fill out the meta data. I was able to resuse screen shots from the Kindle Fire, but had to create other collateral like icons and promo photos. Submit the meta data for approval.
-
Several days later, the meta data gets approved and you can now upload your binary and re-submit. Delays are in the 1 week range and expect to get rejected. Seems to be something they like to do. Fix and resubmit.
I donât remember for Turkeys Revenge, but I think I got sales the next day. But for Omniblaster it was like 3 days after it was live before I saw my first sales, but I think the problem may have been due to a problem on their side. They were reporting Omniblater being over 50MB in size when it should be reporting in the 27MB range. I asked about it, they confirmed that something was amiss, and a day or so later, I started seeing sales.
But their process beyond the double application and them making you submit your info before the app is no more difficult than Amazon or Apple at the end of the day and I make more money there than anywhere else.
