Difference between build for Android and build for Amazon/Kindle

I just built an app for Amazon/Kindle and looked at the resulting AndroidManifest.xml and it’s exactly the same as the one for regular Android builds. In the amazon faq it says that we have to declare support for large screens in the manifest, but that’s not there.

Is there any actual difference between the two build processes or is the “Build for Amazon/Kindle” menu entry just a dummy entry? [import]uid: 61899 topic_id: 22737 reply_id: 322737[/import]

Well considering that Amazon’s Kindle (Fire) runs Android 2.3 I don’t think there is a difference at all, except for performance I might guess. [import]uid: 122522 topic_id: 22737 reply_id: 90788[/import]
